The 2020 Uniform Guidance Revisions: A New Era in Grants Administration

On Aug. 13, 2020, the Office of Management and Budget released final guidance that implement wide-sweeping revisions to the uniform guidance at 2 C.F.R. Part 200. The revisions, which go into effect for awards issued after the Nov. 12, 2020, effective date, is the culmination of a required five-year review of the current uniform guidance and includes revisions and clarifications to existing provisions, as well as the addition of several new provisions.
