Taking part in a grant project as a subrecipient can be a rewarding experience that allows entities to address the needs of an organization, minimize gaps, and enhance services to participants.  Subrecipients on a grant project can (and should) involve a meaningful, vital role in achieving the grant outcomes.

However, too often, grantees enter a subrecipient relationship with little or no information about what they should expect from the prime recipient, or fully comprehend what risk factors they may be on the horizon for their entity.

This upcoming webinar explores critical factors of the subrecipient relationship you must understand.

Register now for How to Avoid Common Mistakes Made by Subrecipients and Maximize Grant Partnerships to Achieve Outcomes.

In this 90-minute webinar, grants compliance officer Toni DeMaglio will address “real-life” challenges of implementing a grant project under a subrecipient agreement and how subrecipients can develop partnerships that lead to positive relationships that achieve grant outcomes.

Subrecipients need to be savvy when they choose to enter into a relationship with prime recipients in a grant project. By understanding your obligations as a subrecipient you will be able to identify potential problems, including correct possible misdirection and overreach by the prime recipient. Plus, you can ask questions during the Q&A portion of the webinar.

Reserve your space now to gain a clear understanding of how to avoid common mistakes made by subrecipients, including:

  • How your role as a subrecipient differs from that of a contractor
  • Factors that contribute to positive, productive relationships with prime recipients prior to entering into a subrecipient agreement
  • The obligations of the subrecipient under the grant award
  • The tools necessary to examine the elements of the subrecipient agreement, as well as, negotiated the agreement to properly implement the project and reduce risks to the subrecipient entity
  • How to troubleshoot common problems with prime recipients, and be effective grant partners
  • How to avoid possible overreach of the prime recipient into subrecipients’ activities and requirements under the agreement

You will come away from this webinar with a clear understanding of how to maximize your grant partnerships to achieve the best outcome.
